Location:
432170 (8322). Northern side of Mitchell Valley, three kilometres north-east of Lindenow.

Abstract:
Type locality Wuk Wuk Marl Member of Gippsland Limestone.

Geology:
River cliffs expose eight metres of brown and grey bryozoan marl. The lower three metres are of compact, shelly, fine-grained marl with the fossils generally unbroken and unworn, suggesting quiet conditions of sedimentation.
