Site Description:Grazing paddock - CRC plant evaluation site.
Geology: Metamorphic (schist/gneiss) ridge (aureole) between Ordovician (thinly bedded shale) uplands and intrusive gneiss (Devonian granite) on lower northern slopes.

Management Considerations:
- The levels of exchangeable calcium are very low compared to levels of exchangeable manganese (i.e. magnesic) in the subsoil (below 55 cm depth). This indicates that nutrient imbalances (e.g. calcium deficiency) may occur.
- The deep subsoil (from 110 cm depth) becomes strongly dispersive, which will result in restricted water movement at depth.
