Stavely Non-Marine Sandstone Land Unit

This land unit forms a small section of exposed non-marine sandstone along Salt Creek and around Woorndoo. The soils are commonly strong texture contrast soils, although they do differ in the subsoil chemistry, with some soils being sodic while others have a strongly acidic subsoil. These soils are found in association with Podosols on the colluvial slopes.
