General Land Unit Description:
This unit occurs on Bald Hill and consists of Brown Chromosols or Dermosols usually occurring on mid or lower slopes and shallow friable soils (Rudosols) on the rocky upper slopes. Shallow friable Rudosols are usually dominant on the areas that are completely strewn with basalt boulders and stones. |
