Locality:

7122-370087. Eleven kilometres south of Digby.

Access:

Dartmoor-Hamilton Road.

Geology/Geomorphology:

This site comprises a series of terracettes, which are small elongate and repeated rotational landslides. These have exposed a weathering profile consisting of a ferric concretionary horizon overlying mottled clays. The terracettes continue downslope to the road margin. Gullies extend to the Stokes River, to the north of the road.

Movement of the terracettes appears to be rapid and continual and this could be a useful monitoring and reference site.
