Geology/Geomorphology:
| Wright Swamp is a broad shallow basin of compound origin possible resulting from subsidence of underlying limestone and stream blocking by sand dunes. Alluvial aureoles are conspicuous on aerial photographs and indicate the former extent of this wetland. The wetland has been drained and largely cleared. |
