Locality:

Access:

Tiemans Road off Merino-Coleraine Road.

Geology/Geomorphology:

This site comprises a small landslip on weathered Lower Cretaceous sediments (Otway Group). The headwall of the original slide exposes grey clay overlain by 30 cm of a ferric concretionary horizon. This has been referred to as a Tertiary laterite capping. Further slumping, terracing, and tunnelling occurs downslope from the base of the original slide. The site has been heavily grazed.
