| Access: | Sinclair Settlement Road and Lindons Road (Cain Swamp) off Princes Highway. |
Geology/Geomorphology:
| These wetlands form part of a chain of swamps in a prior channel of the Crawford River. This channel was abandoned because of river capture of the Crawford by a tributary of the Glenelg River. |
| Significance: | State. This large site consists of a group of related features which are important in the interpretation of the history of the Crawford River capture. |
| Management: | Large scale land disturbance which would obscure the integrated nature of the wetland and channel features should be prohibited. |
