Australian Soil Classification: Bleached-Sodic, Hypercalcic, Red KANDOSOL (thick, sandy surface horizons). This profile overlies an older soil profile.

General Landscape Description: Crest of an east-west dune.
Geology: Quaternary (Woorinen Formation) deposit).
