A Land Capability Study of the City of Greater Bendigo, Huntly District - Technical Report No. 21

The primary objective of this study was to provide the municipality with detailed land resource information, consisting of base data on the nature of the land, and assessment of the likely performance of the land under various activities. This information can underpin many land use and management decisions by the municipal authority. In doing so, many of the problems and unexpected costs incurred through inappropriate land use can be avoided.

This study by M R Bluml, G Boyle and E Jones of the former Department of Natural Resources and Environment, completed in November 1995; describes in detail the land present in the City of Greater Bendigo - Huntly District and provides information relevant to land use planning and assessment.
