Location:Cleever Hill - 519339. Shire of Ballan. 3 km west of Ballan.

Access:

Shaws road.

Ownership:

Crown land.

Site Description:

The site is in a swampy valley near Bostock Reservoir and is one of several small mineral springs in the Ballan area. The water is effervescent and gives off free carbon dioxide. An improved pumping system is currently being installed.

Significance:

Local. The site is an example of a pressure water discharge point.

Management:

Class 3. The site can be maintained as a public access mineral spring.
