Geological heritage sites, including sites of geomorphological interest and volcanic heritage sites, are under regular revision by the Geological Society of Australia, especially in the assessment of significance and values. Geomorphology:
The Yarra River is flanked by low levee banks and these have impounded backswamps against the valley side bluff.

Local. This is an easily accessible and representative example of the
