Site Description: |
The road cut exposes a high grade hornfels produced by contact metamorphism of sediments intruded by the You Yangs Granite. |
Significance: |
Regional. The site is the only field contact exposure of the sediments invaded by the You Yangs Granite. |
Management: |
Class 2. Road maintenance operations should be designed to keep the clarity of thus small outcrop. |
