Agrometeorology in Relation to the Control of Soil Erosion

This formative paper was presented at the World Meterology Conference held in Melbourne in 1966. It outlines the mechanisms of both wind and water erosion and offers options for mitigation. The author (R.G.Downes) was the chairman of the Victorian Soil Conservation Authority.
