Potential Distribution of Prairie ground cherry (Physalis viscosa) in Victoria (Nox)

Potential distribution produced from CLIMATE modelling and overlayed on suitable overlays with CMA boundaries

Overlays used

Land Use: Pasture irrigated, Pasture dryland and Broadacre cropping

Rainfall: Rainfall between 250 and 550 mm

Colours indicate possibility of P. viscosa infesting these areas. In the non-coloured areas the plant is unlikely to establish as the climate, soil or landuse is not currently suitable.
