Potential Distribution of Alligator weed (Alternanthera philoxeroides) in Victoria (Nox)

This map of the potential distribution of Alligator weed has been produced from CLIMATE® modelling. No other overlays were used; as this is an aquatic species so land use or broad vegetation types do not limit its distribution.

Colours indicate possibility of Alternanthera philoxeroides infesting these areas:
Red = Very High
Orange = High
Light Green = Medium
Dark Green = Likely

In the non-coloured areas the plant is unlikely to establish as the climate, soil or landuse is not presently suitable.
