Potential Distribution of Silverleaf nightshade (Solanum elaeagnifolium) in Victoria (Nox)

Potential distribution produced from CLIMATE modelling and overlayed on suitable overlays with CMA boundaries.

Overlays used

Land Use: Pasture irrigated and Pasture dryland

Broad Vegetation types: Coastal scrubs and grasslands; dry foothill forests; grasslands; plains grassy woodlands; valley grassy forests; coastal grassy woodlands; montane grassy woodlands; riverine grassy woodlands; rainshadow woodlands; and box ironbark forests.

Colours indicate possibility of N. trichotoma infesting these areas. In the non-coloured areas the plant is unlikely to establish as the climate, soil or landuse is not currently suitable.
