Habitat: | Temperate regions, where it tolerates any soil, although thrives in moist, fertile settings (Blood 2001, Muyt 2001). Japanese honeysuckle is a weed of gardens and invades heathland and heathy woodland, damp sclerophyll forest, wet sclerophyll forest, riparian vegetation, and warm temperate rainforest (Blood 2001, Carr et al 1992). |
