Pink pampas grass

Habitat:

Reported in a wide variety of habitats including, coastal heath, riparian vegetation, grassland, dry woodland and forest, seasonal freshwater wetlands, forestry and disturbed areas such as roadsides and waste areas, (Bossard, Randell & Hoshovsky 2000; Carr et al 1992; Lambrinos 2006; Parsons & Cuthbertson 2001; Weber 2003). This distribution may be vary, depending upon the biotype introduced from it’s native range (Bossard, Randell & Hoshovsky 2000). Grazing can prevent seedling establishment in pasture (Muyt 2001).
