Scientific name:

Conyza sumatrensis (Retz.) E.Walker

Common Name:

fleabane, tall fleabane, broad-leaved fleabane, white horseweed, Sumatran fleabane, Guernsey fleabane

Habitat:

Conyza sumatrensis is a weed of cultivated fields, pasture and wasteland (Everett, 1994). In France it occurs in gardens, vineyards and in old fields (Case and Crawley, 2000). It is also able to establish in dry coastal areas, heath, heathland mallee, shrubland, grasslands, sclerophyll forests, woodland, riparian vegetation and freshwater wetland (Carr et al, 1992).
