Scientific name:Sparaxis bulbifera (L.) Ker Gawl.

Common name:
Harlequin flower

Habitat:
Native of South Africa. Invades heathlands, grasslands, woodlands, roadsides, and ephemeral wetlands (Blood, ’01). Manning et al. (’02) refer to it growing on wet, sandy or limestone cliffs.
