Habitat: | Temperate regions - often where soils are heavy and damp (Parsons and Cuthbertson 1992). Often a weed of neglected areas, degraded pastures and turf (Parsons and Cuthbertson 1992). It is confined to areas with annual rainfall greater than 750 mm (Parsons and Cuthbertson 1992). Ox-eye daisy invades lowland grassland and grassy woodlands, damp sclerophyll forests, riparian vegetation, alpine and subalpine vegetation (Carr et al 1992). |
