Not declared noxious in Victoria

Habitat:

Can occur in most tropical and sub-tropical terrestrial habitats below 1,000 m altitude, except for undisturbed rainforest. Requires at least 1,200 mm annual rainfall, but tolerates severe dry seasons. Grows in many soil types but prefers well-drained soils. (ISSG 2000) Native in grasslands, savannas and forest margins (Weber 2003).
