Scientific name:Ligustrum ovalifolium Hassk.

Common Name:
Hedge privet, Oval-leaf privet, California privet

Habitat:
Occurring in full sun to full shade, in habitats including forest, forest margins, woodland, riparian vegetation, roadsides and waste places, the species is reported in similar habitats as L. sinense (Henderson 1995; PFAF 2007; Roy et al 2004; Webb, Sykes & Garnock-Jones 1988).
