Habitat:

The species is reported to be most invasive in moist vegetation, such as rainforest and riparian areas (Muyt 2001). The species is also listed as occurring in woodland, forest, coastal cliffs, edges of swamps and roadsides (Carr, Yugovic & Robinson 1992; Muyt 2001; Webb, Sykes & Garnock-Jones 1988; Weber 2003).
