Status:

Not declared noxious in Victoria

Habitat:

Native to southeastern Europe. Natural areas, disturbed sites, roadsides, fields, and especially sites with fertile soil. In California located in Modoc Plateau, northern North Coast Ranges and Sierra Nevada foothills to 1400 m (Healy et al 2005). In Colorado, has been found along roadsides, irrigation ditches, impacted areas along the edge of fields and waste areas. Noticed growing at elevations from 1,800 – 2,100 m (RBWD 2005).
