Status:
Declared Noxious weed. The Agriculture Victoria website has information about the noxious weed classification of this species.

Habitat:
Streams in pastoral country … openings in pine and eucalypt forest’ (Cremer 1999). Offstream wetlands (Ladson et al 1997).
