Agnes, clay surface (Ag,c)

This mapping unit occurs on an almost level alluvial plain between Toora and Yarram. The soils are similar to those of the Agnes mapping unit except that the surface soils are dark grey, light to medium clays. As these soils crack vertically after a prolonged dry period, their classification is likely to be grey Vertosols.
