Yarram, clay surface (Yr,c)

The Yarram clay surface mapping unit is a variation of the Yarram mapping unit. The two areas of this unit occur south of Yarram on an almost level, former alluvial plain of the Tarra and Albert Rivers. The surface soils are generally strongly structured very dark grey clays or clay loams which overlay dominantly grey clay subsoils. Profile GP44 is a clay loam surface version of the Yarram, clay surface.
