Flood Plains with Channel Network

This unit refers mainly to the low-lying flood plains located north of Charlton on both sides of the Avoca River. These plains contain a network of channels and swamps, comprising part of the Tyrrells Marsh. This landform unit occupies about 6 400 hectares.

The main soils included in this unit have been mapped in the Callawadda association.
