Management Considerations:
- Texture contrast soil or deep sand over clay.
- Deep sandy material is alkaline at the surface becoming neutral to slightly acidic with depth.
- Deep loose sand, bleached, little nutrient holding capacity or available.
- Sandy material susceptible to wind and sheet erosion.
- Upper subsoil is acidic becoming alkaline with depth.
- Subsoil is sodic with pale colour and mottling, restricted drainage.
- Landform element, dune; well drained site drainage.
