Management Considerations:

- Mallee cleared 1890.
- Continuously cropped with grains (barley, oats, wheat) and legumes (peas, faba beans).
- Crops ripen earlier than in other areas.
- Direct drilling used as cultivation method.
- Super phosphate, gypsum (with ripping) and nitrogen applied.
