Wimmera Systems

The Wimmera River Water Supply Catchment is part of the Wimmera River catchment that supplies the Wimmera-Mallee Water Supply System and its headworks. It was gazetted in 1959 under the provisions of s 22 of the Soil Conservation and Land Utilisation Act, 1958 (John Martin, pers. comm.), and carried over to the Catchment and Land Protection Act, 1994. No management plan currently exists for the Wimmera River catchment.
