Management considerations
  • Texture contrast soil, relatively deep surface soil (some subsurface water lateral flow)
  • Strongly acidic surface soil, neutral to alkaline subsoil
  • Slightly sodic subsoil (subnatric)
  • Dispersive deep subsoil; high susceptibility for tunnel and gully erosion if disturbed
  • Red mottled, some air and water movement restrictions in subsoil
  • Landscape position; water receiving and shedding, developed profile
