Management considerations

Deep, sandy soil, slightly acid, becoming neutral at depth.
Leached soil, very little nutrient available, apart from thin surface soil.
Clayey subsoil at depth, possible deep Sodosol.
Surface soil maintaining stability, susceptible to sheet and rill erosion. Subsurface soil has loose to weak consistence (no binding).
Sand plain; site drainage varying from poor to moderately well drained; receiving and distributing moisture.
