Native to Australia.

Plant
Description:

Perennial herb to 50 cm tall with softly stems and leaves and a fleshy taproot. Leaves on a 13 cm stalk, ovate to almost circular, 2-9 cm long, shallowly 5-7 lobed and the lobes undulating and toothed.

Flower-head umbrella-like with 4-12 flowers on 10-20 mm stalks. Petals 8 mm long and pink. Fruit 8-15 mm long and hairy.

Habitat:

Widespread in a range of habitats from coastal to alpine and semi-arid to wet. Usually indicative of fresh-water environments, although it can be found on the margins of saline swamps and flats.
