Common Name:

European privet, Common or golden privet

Status:

Not declared noxious in Victoria.

Habitat:

Tolerant of drought and maritime exposure the species is reported to invade grassland, woodland, open forest, forest edges, riparian vegetation, rock out crop vegetation, waste places and roadsides (Carr, Yugovic & Robinson 1992; PFAF 2007; Webb, Sykes & Garnock-Jones 1988; Weber 2003).
